SHE SPEAKS VOLUMES
SEASON 1
Short and sweet summaries of fundamental feminist texts of the past 500+ years. She Speaks Volumes provides a primer for critical moments in the history, theory, and philosophy of feminism. Each episode explores a writer, and the elements that shaped her world; in her own words exploring her struggle and how these ideas can contribute to our newly emerging post-patriarchal/postcolonial global society.
THE AMUSEUM
SEASON 1
The Amuseum asks questions such as: Is magic real? Really real? Can it be proven? What is consciousness? And is everything conscious? Is there a way to prove that? Why are puppets so compelling? Can you murder a puppet? What do fairytales, legends and myths say about us? How did tales told by old women to small children centuries ago survive? And why do they still have meaning for us today?
Series 1 is all about Magic. I am using the well known definition of magic by Dion Fortune “magic is the art of changing consciousness at will” as a starting point to explore what magic is, what is the art of magic? What is consciousness? And what is will, and is it really free?
